MICHAEL OWEN JONES is Professor in the Folklore and Mythology Program at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is the author of Exploring Folk Art: Twenty Years of Thought on Craft, Work, and Aesthetics and co-author, with Robert A. georges, of People Studying People: The Human Element in Fieldwork.
