folio, portfolio containing 47 stiff cards -numbered 1-47 (54 are expected) with good quality b&w plates of various laces, portfolio covers are no longer attached by a piece of cloth on one edge. Covers present but heavily worn. The 47 cards are heavily age darkened and brittle around the edges. There is also a title page inside on cream color paper and 1 page of text titled "Introduction" . There is no list of the plates. These text pages are moderarely to heavily foxed and worn and stained. Text is in French. There is no date given, so estimating 1925. A loose page of laces from some other source is placed inside. One image is detached for its card and another is nearly so. Overall a poor copy, but images are good though incomplete. Note: due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA will be more expensive. Seller Inventory # 4137
