Item description from seller

Says first published (Pelican Books) 1939 on the verso of title. Paper age browned around the edges, else lovely bright clean copy in dustwrapper which has both flaps detached both of which are present and complete. The spine of the dustwrapper has a few very small splits and holes with some browning. Still a remarkably good copy for a pre-war paperback. Scarce in this condition.
