Previous owner's bookplate on inside front cover - Neal D. Bousfield. Rev. Neal D. Bousfield is hired as a Missionary Pastor [of the Maine Seacoast Mission] In 1936. Two years later, he became the Mission s Superintendent and served in that role until his retirement in 1972. During his 34-year tenure, he guided the organization through the Depression era, World War II, and Bar Harbor s Fire of 1947, which devastated the town of Bar Harbor, where the Mission was then housed. And gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1928. ; Book is in excellent condition. Included are several pieces of ephemera related to Colby College and partiucularly, to Arthur Roberts.
