Kenneth S. Van Strum ? First Edition, 1927 (Barron?s, New York)
Hardcover, First Edition (1927), Barron?s, New York. A substantial early work on market forecasting and trend analysis by Kenneth S. Van Strum. The volume measures approximately 8? x 5½? (22 cm tall) and contains xvi, 315 pages including text and indices.
Condition: A very nice used copy without a dust jacket. The binding is solid, and the boards are square with moderate handling wear appropriate to age. There is a large bookplate on the inside cover and some pencil annotations/notes in the text, adding character but not detracting from readability.
Notes on Pages: Some pages exhibit some yellowing/toning caused by a tipped-in journal article, resulting in adjacent leaves with overall light yellow toning. The rest of the interior is clean and intact with normal age toning, free of tears or loose sections.
This is a desirable collectible first edition of an early technical market analysis text ? a great addition to the collection of collectors of financial history or classic investment literature.
