Foreign Direct Investment, Human Rights and Climate Change: A Multiperspective Approach

How can the promotion and facilitation of foreign direct investment be reconciled with the demands of environmental and social sustainability? To what extent can the negotiation of new international investment agreements prevent human rights abuses and environmental damage in the context of cross-border investment?
