Inside cover is inscribed in black ink "To Grandpa From [?] Hackett, Xmas 1959." The book contains an old note from D. A. Scott, General Merchant and Produce Dealer, made out to a Mrs. J. Foster by Gladys S. for the purchase of dog bread, brown sugar and other items.
