About the Author:
Brent Oberg teaches communication, speech and television production at Highlands Ranch High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. In his role as coach of the Highlands Ranch Speech and Debate Team, Brent has seen his students qualify for finals, semi-finals and quarterfinals at the national tournament and win numerous state and tournament championships. Hi has also coached a national champion in the National Management Association Oratorical Contest, a national runner-up in the American Legion Oratorical Contest, and a national finalist in the VFW Voice of Democracy Contest. He has taught speech and coached forensics at the junior high, high school and university levels.
Brent holds a bachelor's degree in speech and English education from the University of Wyoming and a master's degree in communication from Regis University in Denver.
Brent lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Beth, and his children, Quinn, Soren and Zoe. He loves to travel, hike, golf and, more than anything else, spend time with his family.
