Synopsis:

On Breeze Celebration, Mar Jeps' life changes in an instant — and the fate of the entire Kodan species is placed in her hands. But saving a civilization is never simple. At every turn, her efforts are undermined by the deep-rooted forces of greed and corruption woven into Kodan society. Can she outmaneuver the powers working against her? Can she bend the arc of history toward survival — and make the foreseeable future a reality?
