Forever Completely

Forever Completely is an unapologetically unique debut by J.J. Patrick, set in a haphazard world of love, psychopathic primates, hodgepodge witchcraft and the apocalyptic end of mankind.

He doesn't matter. That's how he feels, writing a bitter note on a Saturday morning. He's lost his relationship, gone bankrupt and lives in a drug infested sink estate...until he's shown a vision of the end of the world by two ancient deities.

Join a lovelorn mess of a man as he is forced to face up to what he deserves and save the Earth, with the help of a nice old dear and her collection of eye-popping tracksuits...

The Readers Say:

"A brilliantly haphazard, broken glory all of its own. Forever Completely is utterly unashamed of itself..."
"I can't compare this book to anything because I have never read anything like this before. Witches, the apocalypse, love, hate and redemption. I don't usually read fantasy fiction, but the author makes an unbelievable world so believable that I didn't want the book to end"
"This book refuses to settle in a genre but if I had to compare it to anything else, I am reminded most of Terry Brooks' The Word & Void series. The story seems to lead in a certain (frequently visited) direction but then veers off on a hurtling course to somewhere very different indeed.
I have no doubt that like Brooks, the author intends to surprise us with more from this world he has just introduced us to. Also like Brooks, it's Earth, but not as we know it"
"This is an extraordinary novel, unlike nearly anything I have ever read before. If I were to give it a comparison I would call it an 18+ version of Susan Copper's classic, The Dark Is Rising.

If you like a story that grabs you and takes you away from everything you have ever known, if you like true and honest love, and if you like those things served with witchcraft and the end of the world, then this is the book for you.

It's a stunning debut and I can't wait to read to more"
"Harry Potter it ain't!

I thought I had it figured out quite quickly, but the story just kept on giving and morphed into something else, much more interesting and unexpected.

I found Forever Completely to be a completely gripping, which struck so many chords around personal responsibility, loss, love and the human condition I forgot I was reading about 'witches' and and just cared about what happened to the characters.

Anyway, loved the book and look forward to the next. Those characters have life in them yet, and I would love to know more about them.

If you are looking for something a little different and definitely thought provoking, give this a go and prepare to be thoroughly entertained along the way"
"Fascinating, quite unlike anything else out there. Highly recommended."
"Brilliant, a thoroughly good read. Engaging and somewhat bittersweet. Must read !!!"
