The Forge (Paperback)

Paperback. A year ago, Victor "Lazarus" Calloway walked away from the Red Devils motorcycle club with a Bible in his hand and blood on his conscience. Now he pastors The Forge-a church built from wreckage for people no other church would take. Bikers. Ex-cons. Single mothers. Broken men in folding chairs, learning to sing hymns for the first time. The ministry is growing. Lives are changing. And the club that once owned him wants it to stop. When the Red Devils come with a threat only Victor understands-a twenty-year-old secret buried in the woods east of town-he refuses to back down. So they send something worse than a warning. They send a weapon Victor never sees coming. His name is Eli Cross. He's nineteen. He's never known his father. And he has no idea that the man behind the pulpit is the reason he grew up without one.Sent to infiltrate The Forge and bring it down from the inside, Eli walks through the door as a spy-and discovers something he wasn't prepared for. A Christ-centered community that sees him. A woman named Lily who feeds him like a son. A mentor who teaches him the Word with fire in his voice and something shattered behind his eyes.As the gospel takes root in Eli's heart, Victor faces the hardest question of his faith: Can he confess the worst thing he's ever done to the boy it hurt the most? Can the truth that might destroy everything be the only thing that sets them free? And when the enemy plays his final card-when the grave in the woods becomes a weapon aimed at Victor's life-only God can answer what no man can explain. Some things stay buried. Some things don't. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
