Forgery in Christianity: A Documented Record of the Foundations of the Christian Religion

Forgery in Christianity: A Documented Record of the Foundations of the Christian Religion is a book written by Joseph Wheless. The book is a critical examination of the origins and foundations of the Christian religion. Wheless argues that many of the documents that form the basis of Christianity are forgeries, and that the religion itself is built on a fraudulent foundation. The book is divided into several chapters, each of which examines a different aspect of Christianity. Wheless begins by discussing the origins of the New Testament and the various gospels that were written in the first few centuries after the death of Jesus. He argues that many of these gospels were forgeries, created by early Christian leaders to support their own theological views.Wheless also examines the historical evidence for the existence of Jesus, and argues that there is very little reliable information about him. He suggests that the stories of Jesus were largely invented by the early Christian community, and that the figure of Jesus was used as a symbol for a variety of different theological concepts.Throughout the book, Wheless provides detailed references and citations to support his arguments. He draws on a wide range of historical and theological sources, and presents a compelling case for his view that Christianity is based on a foundation of forgery and fraud.Overall, Forgery in Christianity: A Documented Record of the Foundations of the Christian Religion is a thought-provoking and controversial book that challenges many of the assumptions and beliefs of traditional Christianity. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of religion and the origins of Christianity.Contents: Pagan FraudsChristian Precedents; Hebrew Holy Forgeries; Christian Scripture Forgeries; The Saintly Fathers of the Faith; The Gospel Forgeries; The Church Forgery Mill; The Triumph of Christianity; Index. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
