Young Monty the elephant would like to give some flowers to his Mama. When he mistakes a half-buried bright blue bucket for a bouquet of forget-me-nots, he stops to dig it up. But while he's busy digging, his Mama and the rest of the elephant herd move ahead. Soon poor Monty finds himself alone and lost. When he goes looking for his herd, he discovers other animals grouped together--flamingos, meerkats, and even termites. But where is the elephant herd, and where is Monty's Mama? Can he find them before the rain comes?
