Shall not be Forgiven: and other stories

Here are forty-eight short stories, some dealing with human affairs and some going beyond the fields we know. Charlatanism, true love, nobility and moral dilemmas animate the tales of human affairs. Devils, demons, ghosts, lost souls, aliens and even dragons haunt the other tales. Do you fear that there maybe something in your blind-spot when you pull out on a freeway? Does a politician talking of compassion make you cringe? Have you ever wondered what it would be like if there really was a hell? Did you know some philosophers believe that you create the stars by looking at them? Are you ever outshone at work by those who are smoother and more ruthless than you are? Do you ever wonder how long your country can go on buying everything it wants whilst making very little itself? Did you meet someone in your youth who you only discovered you loved years later? Have you ever made a fool of yourself over misunderstanding? If so this is a book for you.
