Inscription on front endpaper, "To Harry: This copy, one of only 75 copies done for the "love" of doing on the occasion of the 1944 Pacific Society Conference comes to you from your friend Tommy, 8/10/66", Tommy being Amadeo R. Tommasini, a well-known San Francisco Bay area typographer and one of the designers of this book, a collection of quotes by Horatio Greenough about the principle of adaptation of form to function.
