Reviews
Ross has put together an appealing book with 250 lavish photographs that do not offer the traditional idea of "country" decorating. She has combined contrasting styles--rough with smooth, rustic with formal, sophisticated with folksy--and come out with a refined but very warm and comfortable style. This "formal country" style encourages one to discard old rules of decoration and allow personal taste to come through. Recommended for public libraries.
