Contemporary sheep, blind fillets to boards, lettering piece and blind fillets to spine, blind tooling to board edges. A few minor scuffs to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, hinges cracked, early owner signature and stamp (A.H. Ware) to front free endpaper, another (Ware) stamp to title page. Light toning to text, offsetting to margins of endleaves. $150. * Third and final edition. According to Cohen, this work, first published in 1828, is based on Benoni Perham's American Precedents of Declarations (1802, 4th and final ed. 1848). Its forms relate entirely to pleading.
