First edition of this highly detailed insiders view and record of Formula III amateur car racing in after World War II. The Formula 3 race cars were restricted to 500-cc engines (mostly air-cooled motorcycle units) with unrestricted valve gears, or 750-cc engines with L-heads or water-cooled OHV engines.
