Schrader. Frank Charles Schrader (1860-1944) of Harvard and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) was a well-known and respected American geologist, mineralogist, and entomologist, and author. He was known throughout the west as the prospector's friend and was also one of the first federal geologists to explore Alaska. Exterior wraps show tanning along edges along with some spotting and soiling, mainly on the backside. The spine has 809 written in pen in the front cover has a simple orange birdlike footprint pencil just above the title. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight. Paper is toned due to age and there is some very light spotting and foxing present. No handwriting found inside the book, no library markings.
