Original silver print photograph, 4.25" x 7.25" plus margins. CONDITION: Very good, slight nick to lower left corner of margin. Original silver print photograph of Fort Wrangle, Alaska, #454 in La Roche’s Alaska photos series. Frank La Roche (1853-1936) was a Philadelphia born and trained photographer, who settled in Seattle in the wake of the great fire in 1899. He operated a gallery on 2nd Avenue, and in addition to the typical portrait photography, his firm produced numerous iconic views of western Washington, as well as southeast Alaska before and after the turn of the century.

All items will be securely packaged and shipped via USPS or UPS unless the buyer requests otherwise. Overseas buyers should specify their shipping service preference.
