Fountains in the Dust

A book full of hope, stories and pictures from the streets of South America. 'Fountains in the Dust' is a vibrant account of the journey that Adrian and Bridget Plass made, with Angela Murray of children's charity Toybox, to the streets of Latin America. Their travels took them across Peru and Bolivia, from churches and children's homes in unexpected locations, to a park and a prison, meeting the street children that Toybox and its partners work to support. Filled with photographs, poems and stories about the places they visited and the people they met, and brought to life by the typical Plass mix of humour and hard-hitting truth, this is an unforgettable story of hope for the real fountains in the dust – the street children of Latin America.

Adrian Plass is one of today's most significant and successful Christian authors and has written over twenty books, including some of his latest, Bacon Sandwiches and Salvation, Silver Birches and Jesus - Safe, Tender, Extreme. Known for his ability to evoke both tears and laughter for a purpose, he has been reaching the hearts of thousands for over fifteen years. He lives in England with his wife, Bridget. Angela Murray visited Guatemala as a young student to work with street children. She now works with the Toybox Charity and is a sought-after speaker on the subject of street children and justice. All royalties from the sale of this book will go to support the work of Toybox with street children in Latin America.
