Colour frontispiece and three other coloured illustrations, together with many others full page and text illustrations from pencil sketches, sepia watercolours etc by Snaffles. One of an unspecified limited editions this being No 8 with the coloured hunting scene print bookplate to the front paste down signed and numbered by Snaffles. Some light spotting to the blank end papers. Bound in the publishers ¼ red leather with matching red cloth covered boards with gilt whip and horn vignette to the upper cover. Original card slipcase some fading and rubbing to corners and edges. A collection of Snaffles sporting episodes and other observations including hunting and pig sticking in India, shooting, fox hunting etc. Seller Inventory # 23454
