About the Author

Barbara D. Livingston is an Eclipse Award-winning photographer whose work has appeared on the covers of major racing publications and books and in advertising campaigns. Her work also has appeared in Newsweek, People, and Cigar Aficionado.

The upstate New York native first began photographing Thoroughbred racing in the early 1970s when she visited Saratoga Race Course. Over the past 25 years, her lens has captured scores of champions and classic racing scenes.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Livingston is considered one of the pre-eminent equine photographers in America today.
