DETAILS : Has a photograph of Papini as a frontispiece. Contains a brief Preface; [viii] + 324 pages; 5 1/4? x 7 3/4?; red, cloth-covered boards and spine, with gilt lettering on spine and front board. Sans dust-jacket (the jacket?s clipped blurb remains)

CONDITION -- VERY GOOD -- This is a previously owned book that remains clean and presentable, with the following particulars noted :

EXTERIOR : Gilt lettering is bright; spine extremities are compressed and display a touch of abrasion and fraying (fraying just starting); boards have just a slight touch of weathering, but are essentially clean and display solid color; board corner tips are square. Bottom edges of boards display slight shelf wear. Text-block edges are slightly toned, else clean.
BINDING : The leaves open easily, but the whole remains solid, with no detached or loose leaves.
INTERIOR There are a small number of leaves with slightly dog-eared corner tips; paper throughout is lightly toned. The end-papers are somewhat toned (more so at the front); there are two inked signatures with dates on the front free end-paper (one dated Dec. 25, 1926 - and the other dated Feb. 1984. there are no other marking on the interior - no underlining or marginalia - no writing.
DUST-JACKET : Sans. Only the clipped blurb remains.
