Add to basket1988 signed and inscribed first edition, CBG Enterprises (Alexandria, Virginia), 5 5/8 x 7 3/4 inches tall hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, red paper-covered boards over white cloth spine, red endpapers, illustrated with drawings by James L. Hopewell, 200 pp. Slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Nicely inscribed and signed by the author on the blank front free-endpaper. Slight foxing to pages edges. Slight tearing at gutter to verso of half title page and last page of volume where the book was stapled by the binder. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a slightly soiled dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. ~SP22~ [1.5P] Based on an actual incident in World War II, a novel by former Marine Charles R. LaBerge (1921-2015).
