*** 2026 ACFW Carol Award Finalist in Historical Fiction ***

A biblical historical adventure for any season.

A sign in the heavens. A journey into the heart of an empire. A secret mission that could cost them everything.

A rare celestial event not seen in a thousand years sends three Parthian magi on a covert quest to find a newborn king prophesied to change the world. They are joined by Artaban, a brilliant but skeptical scholar haunted by his father’s tragic legacy.

Thrust into a world of deadly political intrigue, the magi are pursued by shadowy agents from their own court and haunted by the ever-watchful legions of Rome. Their treacherous journey across unforgiving deserts is fraught with bandit attacks, sinister plots, and the ghosts of Artaban’s own past.

From the opulent courts of Parthia to the dusty streets of Bethlehem, The Fourth Magi is a sweeping tale of historical richness, heart-pounding suspense, and profound spiritual discovery. It is an unforgettable reimagining of the Christmas story, exploring the clash of empires, the weight of legacy, and the power of a single moment to transform a life of doubt into one of unshakable faith—a story whose themes resonate long after the manger fades from view.

Experience the authentic world of the Nativity story, where faith and doubt intertwine beneath heavenly signs, and discover that sometimes the most valuable gift is the one we least expect to give.
