Oversized Hard Cover, approx. 10.5" x 7", red cloth bds with gilt lettering and decoration to upper bd and spine, cloth mottled heavily and damp stained, bds have softened and re-hardened at btm edge so a little wavy, btm rear corner rubbed at tip and spine ends have v. small split to btm and small rub to to rear hinge, cloth at rear a bit loose and wavy, pges 222- rear pastedown have some faded damp staining, this lightens from the rear until very little on pge 222, otherwise contents clean, bright and tight, a little chipping at btm of rear ep, 13 plates 6 of which are colour and tissue protected, over 100 other illustrations through text, pp262, neat inscription to front pastedown.
