“From graduates of The Storied Imaginarium school of fabulism comes Fractured Reveries, a startling dreamlike anthology of exquisite prose and poetry that envelops the reader with its unquiet insight. A dark and dulcet collection featuring myth and malevolence, Fractured Reveries is a must-read for lovers of fairy tales everywhere. Once again, Carina Bissett proves her mettle as a masterful curator of beautiful stories.”—Lee Murray, five-time Bram Stoker Award®-winning author of Grotesque: Monster Stories

“A powerful and timely anthology told with razor-sharp, devastating prose. Perfect for fans of dark fantasy, fairy tales, and stories of resistance.”—Gwendolyn Kiste, four-time Bram Stoker Award®-winning author of The Haunting of Velkwood and Reluctant Immortals

“Fractured Reveries is a captivating anthology, expertly edited by Carina Bissett and showcasing some of horror, sci-fi, weird fiction, and dark fantasy’s best. The stories within are thought-provoking and soul-crushing, transcendent and full of terror, as different from one another as a field of wildflowers but equally bold, equally brilliant, all ready to be taken up and examined even as you wonder what it will cost you, this trip off the beaten path. It’s a diversion worth embarking upon, a journey through a collective appreciation for the stories that made us, that held us enraptured as children as we listened, familiar voices curling around witch’s curses and sharp-toothed threats.

Like all the best fairy tales, the twenty-five stories in Fractured Reveries will linger, if not as persistently as a sleeping curse than at least as long as the bite of the spinning wheel’s spindle; they’re certainly as poignant, and as sharp.”—Carmen Christa, Bram Stoker Award®-winning author of The Daughters of Block Island

“A dark, decadent collection celebrating all that is dark and powerful about women. Absolutely stunning anthology!”—The Sunday Times Bestselling author of The Book Eaters
