He is a prolific writer and author writer and author of several published books that have made an impact on the Body of Christ. He is also a historian for over forty years. He travels extensively throughout America, as well as abroad, conducting conferences and seminars in regards to biblical and theological issues. Bishop Goings is married to Dr. Louise Goings, who is an educator.  They have two adult children -- Jennifer who is marred) and Michael.
