A four-page Yippie publication calling for an event in solidarity with the Milwaukee 3, three Black Panthers, Jesse White, Booker Collins, and Earl Leverette, accused of the attempted murder of a police officer. Event speakers included Jerry Rubin and Bobby Rush. The short-lived Milwaukee chapter of the Black Panther Party chapter was formed around January 1969, although in September of that year six of its members - including the aforementioned 3 - had been arrested and beaten by police. A January 1970 issue of The Black Panther charged its leadership with counter-revolutionary behavior and announced the chapter as disbanded. Folded sheets measuring 17" x 11", 4 p. Some yellow stains to the front page bleeding through to the next page. Penned note at the end inviting the unnamed recipient to hang out that weekend. A scarce item not found by us in OCLC.
