About the Author: Steve Greene lives on the central Oregon coast, one mile from the Pacific Ocean, where he rides his human powered recumbent tadpole tricycle near the beach and in the Coast Range. When not triking on three wheels, he is walking in his Asics Enduro gel soled trail runner shoes, having sold his final petroleum powered vehicle in December 2008 as his holiday gift to the planet he calls home. Steve has a powerful commitment to the preservation of all things wild, being a naturalist and minimalist at heart.
