Victoria Blackwood was a force of nature.

At thirty-six, she had built Blackwood Capital from a two-person startup into one of the most aggressive and successful hedge funds in London. Ruthless, brilliant, and stunningly beautiful, she ruled her glass-walled empire from the top floor of a sleek Mayfair building.

Victoria Blackwood was a self-made predator in a world of inherited wealth. Born to a single mother in a rough part of Manchester, she had clawed her way into Oxford on a full scholarship, graduating top of her class in Finance and Economics. She started Blackwood Capital with nothing but a laptop, a £5,000 loan, and an iron will. Ten years later, she managed over £4 billion in assets and was known in the City as "The Black Widow" - a woman who destroyed competitors, seduced investors, and never took no for an answer.
