When he sees Atlanta, with her streaked hair and body piercings, you don’t have to be psychic to feel the electricity.Just as the group gathers, a body is discovered under bizarre circumstances. It looks like suicide, but when the ghosts from last year show up with a strange ethereal companion, the FreeKs and their adult mentors have to conclude it’s a murder. And they’re being drawn into it.It’s out of the frying pan into the fire when the murderer targets two at FreeK Camp for abduction and murder. But why these two?As the victims are taken, new talents and an assist from an unexpected ally all come into play. But the sun is coming up and time is running out. Available in print, ebook, and audio book read by actress Melissa Epp.

Steve Burt is the Bram Stoker Award-winning author profiled by Connecticut Magazine in 2009 as The Sinister Minister. His FreeKs series has won two dozen international awards including the Florida Book Festival Grand Prize, 4 Mom's Choice Awards, and the London and Paris Book Festival Awards. One of the things FreeKs fans enjoy is learning about concepts such as remote vision, telekinesis, levitation, and out-of-body travel from the teens' odd mentors-Bando, Twait, and Rose, three former circus-sideshow performers--then seeing them put to use by the teen detectives. The FreeKs series is available in print, ebook, and audio book read by actress Melissa Epp. The Rev. Dr. Burt is also the author of the Stories to Chill the Heart series of story collections. He lives in Florida with his editor/wife Jolyn.
