Living in the united state for over fourteen years. Yonas R. Berhane is a happy he had the opportunity to make a new start in a free country. He says that we all come to this earth as a gift of God. A gift that comes with certain rights and obligations. We are all obligated to other in various ways.

Laws and adherence to those laws a required for civilized society. Nations must remember the people's right and people must stand and fight to secure their freedom when it is taken away.

Freedom is a Gift of God is far more than just my story. This book covers significant growth of terror groups and hate for America through out East Africa and Middle East, and many of the challenges we facing after 9/11, and also covers the role of immigrants in America, the price that many immigrants are willing to pay for freedom, the misrepresentation and absence of immigrants in America media. Yonas offers personal passion, relevant theories and presses a need for change.

An immigrant from East Africa, Yonas Roba Berhane has a passion for freedom and loves America, his new country. In a little over thirteen years, he has gone from being a busboy to a small business owner.
