A smart copy of this translated edition of Lennhoff's illustrated history of the Freemasons. Translated, originally published in German under the title "Die Freimaurer." Illustrated with sixty-three plates and fifteen in-text images. Collated complete. A detailed history of freemasonry, with chapters on the underlying ideas, the development in England, present-day freemasonry in various countries, internationalism, and opponents to the art. Written by Eugen Lennhoff, a Swizz journalist, writer, and well-known Mason. Translated by Einar Frame. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Bookseller's label to the front endpaper. Very Good.
