Freeport, Fleece & Falling Hard: A Romantic Comedy

A fundraiser is hours away from disaster when Dalton’s heaters fail—and Martha issues one directive: Go to Freeport. Do not come back without warmth.

Miles Ward is Dalton’s stoic logistics guy: the fix-it, drive-fast, speak-less type who hates shopping with the intensity of a personal grudge. Quinn Barton is Dalton’s warm, stylish PR lead: the list-maker, people-pleaser, cozy connoisseur who’s great at making everyone else comfortable… and terrible at admitting when he needs help.

Forced into an emergency supply run, they end up trapped in a retail wonderland where carts multiply, fleece walls threaten their emotional stability, and a “quick errand” turns into an unexpectedly safe space to be real. Between boot-fitting betrayal, cocoa breaks that feel like confessionals, and a midnight parking-lot moment that changes everything, Miles and Quinn learn that keeping a town warm is easy compared to the risk of letting someone close.

Because sometimes the bravest thing you can do isn’t showing up.

It’s letting someone meet you halfway.

Freeport, Fleece & Falling Hard is a cozy, hilarious small-town romantic comedy full of winter vibes, competence chemistry, nosy community interference, and an ending as satisfying as the one fleece he “doesn’t even like.”
