Fresh Start - Small Group Bible Study

An 8-Session Small Group Bible Study on God's New Mercies, Forgiveness, and Beginning Again

Everyone in your group is carrying something into the room. A regret. A season they wish had gone differently. A quiet sense that it is too late to start over. Fresh Start walks a small group through eight sessions on the truth that God's mercy arrives anew every morning and that beginning again is not only possible but also the heart of the gospel.

Written so a first-time leader can open the book and lead with confidence. Every session is on the page, start to finish.

What a leader needs to know first:

• Length: 8 sessions, built for weekly meetings. Run it in 8 weeks, or stretch it across a quarter with room for breaks.
• Discussion format: each session opens with a short introduction, moves into 2 to 3 Scripture readings, then 5 open questions that get people talking without putting anyone on the spot.
• No separate leader guide to buy: opening and closing prayers, session intros, reflections, recaps, and weekly homework are written into every chapter. One book runs the whole study.
• Scripture covered: Lamentations 3, Psalm 118, 2 Corinthians 5, Philippians 3, Matthew 6, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, Jeremiah 29, and Joshua 1.
• Themes: daily renewal, letting go of yesterday, grace for today, renewing the mind, forgiveness, hope for tomorrow, living in the present, and stepping forward in faith.
• Group fit: home groups, church classes, men's and women's groups, recovery groups, and new-believer studies. Works for 4 to 20 people, in person or online.
• Workbook space built in: journaling prompts and a notes section in every session, so each member can write directly in their own copy.

Easy to gift or order for the whole group: 6 x 9 paperback. Order one per member so everyone reads, reflects, and writes together.
