He has a long and distinguished career solving real-world knowledge management problems for major organizations.

Dr. Frid has held prestigious positions as Principal Scientist for a Microsoft subsidiary (specializing in Enterprise Portal Architectures), and as CIO of the multi-billion dollar NRS Block Brothers Real Estate Company (that also owned Century 21 and Red Carpet chains), and as President of its sister company Prophase Systems. He continues to sit on the board of several organizations in an advisory capacity.
