Limited edition one of 240 copies. Red and black printed title page. two sections with separate titles With friend and Book 78 pages and In the Study and The Fields, 84 pages. Printed on hand-made paper with decked or uncut edges, bottle green cloth with ornate gilt titles on spine, bevelled edges, TEG. A small almost plain private bookplate inside cover "F.G.Blockley Xmas 1912", minor offsetting to endpapers otherwise a near fine copy of a 120 year old book. All about the love of them too!

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
