She wrote and produced Friendly Fire for television. Starring Carol Burnett. The film won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama or Comedy of the Year. Fay later was President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for 4 terms, 1979-1983. 'Rev. Final Draft / July 25, 1978' typed on bottom of cover sheet. Near fine copy.
