About this Item

This is the first hardcover edition: "Book Club Edition" on jacket front flap, SFBC number "3110" on back flap, and printing code "B3" (January 1971) on bottom of page 184. The book is in spectacular near fine condition, its only flaw a slight "push" on its cover at bottom of spine. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are otherwise pristine, with no wear, no marks, and no fading. Its pages are unmarked and unworn. The dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good+ condition: whole, bright, and unmarked, with some light wear at ends of spine and flap folds, plus a few very faint small scrapes. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.

Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
