About the Author
Stephen Jermanok has explored more than 50 countries in the past decade, but it's New England—his boyhood stomping grounds—that he knows best. He writes regularly about outdoor recreation and adventure for Men's Journal, Outside, Sports Afield, Travel & Leisure, Women's Sports & Fitness, Sail, Aqua, The Boston Globe, and other national publications. Mr. Jermanok recently authored a screenplay for the Academy Award-winning producer of Babette's Feast. He resides in Newton, Massachusetts, with his wife and two young children.
