The Fruit That Is Ripe Is Always Sweeter: The Gospel of Peace

For Treva Thompson, fear was a ferocious force that seemed larger than anything she could conquer. It held an overwhelming grasp that bound her mind and spirit. When God's light was shed upon her fear, the darkness gradually faded. Hope and love took the place of fear and doubt. God's peace embraced her, while her lifelong fear fled.

In The Fruit that Is Ripe Is Always Sweeter, Thompson shares her poetic story of longing to discover God's unwavering love. She has learned that God's love is always with us and always available to all who seek it. This collection is an uplifting account of a soul's venture to be set free from the bounds of fear while seeking God, revealing life-giving truths with no condemnation.

With God's help, Thompson found love and peace. She sought God's presence, and He answered. The wisdom revealed was overwhelmingly easy to understand and use in her daily life, bringing her comfort and joy. When God opened her eyes, His truth became real to her. There are still trials and tribulations, but Thompson now confides in a divine friend through prayer and the written word.

Treva Scott Thompson is a mother and grandmother. She grew up in a very Christian home where she believed in an angry fire and brimstone God. Later, she discovered God is actually a being of unconditional affection and mercy. Treva lives in Fairview, Texas.
