About the Author

As a behavior analyst and mom, Ashley Mack has always been interested in helping children understand and work through their emotions. Working in the field of applied behavior analysis with children of all abilities for nearly twenty years, Ashley has seen the importance of getting children to not only feel their feelings, but to also know how to communicate them and manage them. Once she became a mother, Ashley saw even more clearly how important it is to give little ones the tools needed to identify and cope with different emotions as they often struggle with how to navigate big feelings.
