People who want to lose weight and get fit naturally tend to focus on physical change - how they’ll look better. These stories are the fuel that uplifts, inspires, educates and affirms everyone who has struggled to change, and hasn’t let that dream die. We all need motivation, inspiration and direction. This book gives it to you in small, daily doses that keep you moving forward towards your goal. Almost every person in every story in this book tried and failed at least once before breaking through. Their stories show you how they did it, and how you can do it too.
About the Author
Eric Ruth grew the first business (FMS) to half a million in annual revenue working out of his home office with just one part-time assistant. Then in 2006 Eric took on a partner and launched a second business (NPE) which they grew to over $2 million in the first 24 months, then doubled that two years later, making the Inc 500 list of fastest growing privately owned companies in America two years in row, 2010 & 2011. Along the way Eric created and co-founded Pushups for Charity which has raised over one million dollars for injured men and women of the U.S. Armed Services, and is still going strong today. Both FMS and NPE provided marketing, sales and management products and services to over 10,000 local service business owners. After selling NPE, Eric started a new business called Local Leverage LLC. Over the years Eric’s created hundreds of marketing tools, campaigns and systems that produce client-generating, money-making results for local service business owners. Eric sees himself as a student-practitioner. His personal philosophy is “the real learning is in the doing.” He’s a serious student of direct response marketing, but more importantly, he has real world, in-the-trenches experience growing his own successful businesses, and helping his customers – all local business owners – generate over $100 million in revenue. Aaron Crocker is considered by experts in the field as one of the fitness industry’s leading copywriting, advertising, and marketing strategists. He had the honor of serving as the marketing and advertising implementer behind Birmingham's own Iron Tribe Fitness. His marketing strategies contributed to Iron Tribe’s swift rise from a garage gym hobby to one of the fastest growing franchise gyms in the world. He helped pioneer and open the first Fitness Together franchise in the Southeast with his good friend, Forrest Walden. Together, they grew the franchise to twelve locations with seventy-two employees in only three years. He was awarded the Personal Trainer of The Year in 2003. The Fitness Together franchise units Aaron and Forrest co-owned were awarded the Franchise of The Year twice, and Franchise of The Month on eleven different occasions. Above his professional career, the most important aspects of Aaron’s life are his faith, wife of thirty-seven years, and two children, who have gifted him with eight grandchildren.
