Volume itself has brown covers with gold lettering on the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. Clean, tight, fresh and bright; in near mint condition. 274 pages. This is an authentic reporduction of the List of Fugitives From Justice which the Texas Adjutant General published in 1878 for distribution to the Texas Rangers. Known by the Rangers as "The Book" the list provided a quick reference by county of persons wanted, their crimes, and often a brief physical description of the fugitive. A very nice copy. Desirable.
