Synopsis
Don't be fooled by knock-offs. No one has the full coverage of full-charge bookkeeping like this book. It's written by a CPA who worked his way up through all of the bookkeeping positions (including a full-charge bookkeeping position). He's gone beyond that and obtained supervisory level roles. This book covers all of the tasks (like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Payroll Taxes...). But the author didn't stop there. He also covers all of the topics associated with a bookkeeping position, like industry specifics, getting started & organized when hired... All new terminology is defined right there in the body of the book, along with a complete glossary. It reads more like a How To book or manual, including checklists, forms, sample Financial Statements and a master calendar to track and adhere to all deadlines.
In 2026, we've added a Certified Bookkeeper, who runs her own successful bookkeeping business as Contributing Editor. She brought her wealth of current-day experience to the content.
The Home Study Course Edition breaks the book down into a manageable one-semester course, including course schedule, study outline and test back of practice questions.
