Full Life Fitness is specifically designed for mature adults--those who are no longer youngsters but want to improve their fitness level. The program's low-stress and no-stress exercises are designed to help you avoid pulled muscles, undue soreness, overtaxed joints, and excess fatigue.
Full Life Fitness covers four major categories of exercise: aerobics, muscle conditioning, stretching, and water workouts. You'll learn the benefits of these four exercise types, as well as how to match your physical fitness goals with the right exercises for achieving them. The book also includes complete instructions and informative illustrations for a wide variety of exercises in each of the four categories. You'll find specific recommendations on which exercises you should be doing, how long, and how often.
You'll also learn how to use the exercises to put together your own complete exercise program. Or you can choose from the ready-to-use 3-day, 4-day, 5-day, and 30-day plans.
Full Life Fitness also emphasizes fun. The book is full of tips for increasing your satisfaction from exercise, and it features an entire chapter on how to maintain your interest and motivation.
