"My God, I'm full of words," cries Warren Bluhm, the author of Gladness is Infectious, How to Play a Blue Guitar, A Bridge at Crosswords, and now Full: Rockets, Bells & Poetry.

"The dance of the pen across the page is a deer prancing in the snow, kids racing through the grass, a performance car zipping across the flats so fast the videographer struggles to keep the machine in the frame."

Here are notes, aphorisms and poems in three mini-collections: "The Creative Soul," reflections on making art and the power of words; "Live Free Or Die," thoughts about liberty, self-expression and emerging from dystopia; and "You Can Do This," encouraging words of finding light in a darkening world.

Warren Bluhm was raised in New Jersey but fell in love at first sight with the blue skies of Wisconsin, where he has spent his entire adulthood, first in radio news, then as a reporter/editor of community newspapers, more recently incorporating creative writing and book publishing into that mix.
