Emily Greenhalgh is an award-winning science journalist whose work has been featured in USA Today, The Boston Globe, Gizmodo, the World Meteorological Organization, and in science textbooks. She grew up in Rhode Island, staring into tide pools and dreaming about becoming a mermaid. Realizing that wasn’t an actual job, she trained to become a marine biologist and then a science journalist. Now Emily helps scientists tell their stories. Candela Ferrández is a freelance illustrator based in Barcelona, Spain. After studying fine arts at Salamanca University, she earned a postgraduate degree in illustration at EINA (Barcelona).
